[osg-users] [3rdparty] osgEarth: How to produce correct shadows?

Dear Community members,

does anyone have experience with shadows in osgEarth? I have tried to use a ViewDependentShadowMap, but the resulting shadows are flickering when the viepoint changes and don't seem to be geometrically correct. I posted a similiar request at the osgEarth forum, but unfortunately did not get a reply (http://forum.osgearth.org/Flickering-shadows-with-ViewDependentShadowMap-td7589769.html). Does anyone know where I could find a working example code?

The problem is - sort of - visualized in the attached screenshot. The upper cessna is supposed to cast a shadow on the lower one.
