senseFly Ltd is a Swiss company based in the Lausanne area, a spin-off from EPFL and a member of the Parrot group since 2012. At senseFly, we design, assemble and commercialise autonomous mini-drones for civil applications such as remote sensing, field surveying, mapping and inspection. senseFly is invested in offering a social, entertaining and dynamic atmosphere for its employees so that everyone can perform at his or her best.
We are looking for a driven and talented Computer Graphics Engineer to join senseFly’s R&D team and design next generation flight planning and monitoring software.
Computer Graphics Engineer
Tasks
* Develop powerful, interactive and intuitive 3D UI for map display, flight planning and flight monitoring.
* Develop and maintain simulators for senseFly mini-drones.
* Contribute to the design and the development of the flight planning and monitoring software.
* Test and improve senseFly software in real-world situations.
Profile
* At least 3 years of experience in UI and computer graphics development (3D simulator, CAD software, games, etc.).
* Excellent proficiency with OpenGL programming.
* Excellent proficiency with OpenSceneGraph (or similar framework).
* Experience with C++ programming and the Qt framework.
* Experience with aircraft simulation design a plus.
* Experience with osgEarth a plus.
* Experience with GLSL and other shader language a plus.
* Experience with digital cartography and related technology a plus.
* Ability to work in a rapidly-evolving and dynamic environment.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Proficient in – or willing to learn – French.
Background
A Master degree in engineering (computer science, computer graphics, or equivalent) is required.
