I don't maintain the github's openscenegraph mirror, or been involved in
it's setup so can't comment on this.  I have been using git more these days
but still not 100% confident, but with a bit more time will be ready to
just move over the whole OSG dev to github and use this instead of
subversion.

I don't know if github have support for transferring owners, re-importing
subversion dropping the mirror.

We still have the old trac version of the website that has support for
browsing the source code and revsions:

   http://trac.openscenegraph.org/projects/osg/browser
