I have only disabled this completely here, but I will provide an appropriate
patch probably tomorrow evening.

Looking at the svn log, you have reworked the cameras resize mechanisms to handle
attachments and the viewport - which is good to have - Thanks!
It looks like the patch I mentioned was something that you started with.
That's about what I can tell from the logs. Sorry I did not follow too close lately ...

I will provide a change in the end.
