Hi Tony,

Your post discusses Boost but makes no mention of the OSG so I'm at a loss
as how this relates to the OSG.  Did these issues occur when
compiling/installing all or some part of the OSG?

All the core OSG doesn't use Boost, only select plugins require Boost and
then only because of the 3rd party libs.
